Valmiki 2019 Movie Reviews & Ratings: Mega hero Varun Tej is now going to remake Tamil super hit film ‘Jigarthanda’ as ‘Valmiki’ in Telugu. Harish Shankar is working on this project. Atharvaa Murali is playing the lead role in this film whereas Varun Tej will be seen in a negative shaded role. The pre trailer has already showcased Varun Tej in a massy avatar. The story is about an aspiring director being offered a chance by a producer to make a film on the condition that the film should be a violent gangster story. As the search for a hero and a real gangster begins then things take a bizarre turn. Harish Shankar seems to have mainly made this film because to play up all the good features of Varun Tej. Telling a good story might have taken a back seat here. We see Varun indulging in punchlines and violence, while other characters get little to no importance in the trailer.
